Pledged as One Eternally:
Celebrating A Century of Distinction

letter from alpha chapter

In 1913, 22 heroic women, facing discrimination and injustice, decided on the campus of Howard University to found an organization that would serve as a catalyst for change for decades to come. Your participation in the Centennial activities is critical. We look forward to seeing you at all of the events!

Since 1913, over 1,700 of us have been initiated into Alpha Chapter, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Although our Founders are no longer with us, we should honor them in a special way by coming together as Alpha Chapter Alumnae to financially support the Rankin Chapel stained glass window project.
